Tennessee, South Carolina and Georgia each have grants that provide unique opportunities to help fund college. Although the names seem similar, there are many differences in these programs from award amounts to number of years available. What they do all offer is an excellent opportunity for in state students to fund some or even most of their college education. This site covers yearly changes, eligibility, application and requirements for awards in each of these states. Unlike many awards, these are fully merit based and provide students attending in state colleges a unique benefit; however, each year the respective state legislatures have the opportunity to make changes based on state funding levels from lotteries, spending at universities, and number of students entering universities each year. Due to the growth of tuition rates and the expansion of the award base to more students, the security of the program is in jeopardy. If you need to understand GPA calculation, eligibility, renewal, or just want to see what the latest changes are, you’ve come to the right place. Read the articles and make comments.
